Are you passionate about running and eager to take your fitness to the next level? Robust Running is the perfect place for new and improving runners who want to improve their running and get stronger with 1-1 online personal training. And if you’re in the Edinburgh area, you can join our running club and look at in person coaching options too.

Coaching options

  • Having helped thousands of people improve their health,fitness and running performance over the last 18 years, I know that everyone has the same basic needs but also has their own unique circumstances which can make training decisions challenging. I'll assess your fitness level and set targets specific to you, helping to form the basis for your training going forward

  • Based on our assessments and conversation, I'll write your running plan. This is updated and tweaked every four weeks, and is designed to help you progress whilst respecting your other priorities

  • I believe that strength training alongside running sets you up for success over the short and long term. In app video demonstrations & tracking of weights will help you make progress, step by step and lift by lift

  • I've designed the level up system to provide stepping stones to your bigger goals. Key exercises that will help you succeed will be selected, and the weights/reps are age graded(Levels 0-4) to give you performance goals. The added bonus is, every time you move up leves on your exercises you'll get a piece of Robust Running training gear!

  • Check ins via Whatsapp and email, plus monthly facetime calls give you the support you need to feel confident in your training

  • Logging your Training sessions via Trainerize will mean I get updated straight away with how you're getting on. You can give feedback in key exercises(video,audio or written) and I'll be able to steer you right. You can get me around the clock via Whatsapp too for any conversations you want to have
